NPES Solar were approached by a homeowner building their dream property in a remote area of rural Staffordshire. Due to the location of the property, a traditional grid connection was not available — and the cost to bring in mains power was prohibitively high. The client needed a dependable, fully off-grid energy solution that could power their home all year round.

Our Solution

We designed and installed a 30kWp solar PV system, expertly paired with a 30kWh Pylontech lithium battery bank and a Victron Energy inverter system to create a completely self-sufficient power setup. The Victron system included a MultiPlus-II inverter/charger, Cerbo GX monitoring system, and MPPT charge controllers to ensure maximum efficiency and reliability.

The system was mounted across multiple roof spaces and ground-mount frames to optimise production across the day, regardless of the season. We also installed full monitoring capability through Victron Remote Management (VRM), giving the customer and our team real-time insight into performance, battery status, and load usage.
