Essington Rugby Club, a valued part of the local community, had previously installed a solar PV system to help offset their energy use. While the PV system provided savings, the club was keen to increase its self-consumption of solar energy and improve energy independence – especially during peak periods and match days when usage is high.

NPES Solar was brought in to upgrade the club’s existing setup with a modern battery storage system and carry out essential repairs to the existing PV array.

Our Solution

After a detailed on-site inspection and energy usage analysis, NPES Solar designed and installed an 18kWh FOX Energy Storage System paired with a 10kW FOX 3-Phase Hybrid Inverter. This combination ensures the club can now store excess solar energy generated during the day and use it when needed – particularly during evenings and periods of low sunlight.

In addition to the battery installation, our team also completed a minor repair on the existing PV system mounted on the clubhouse roof. The fault, which had been limiting the system’s efficiency, was quickly identified and resolved – restoring the system to its full operational potential.
